My name is Jari Vipele and this is my photography blog, hopefully you will find it interesting and it will continue to grow.
Same goes with my photography as I would love to make it a full time job in the future.
It has taken me a long time to realise that this is something I would love to do for a living.
I am from Finland originally and I have made a long detour via Australia to end up living in UK. Other than Australia I did travel around South East Asia and New Zealand. Unfortunately at the time I didn’t have a good camera, so a lot of the pictures aren’t as good quality as the more recent ones.
My work so far has involved printing, pre-press and graphic design (among lots of other random things whilst travelling). I think my interest for photography has evolved from working in very visually rich and creative environment and I have been inspired by being able to travel to beautiful places.
To celebrate starting this blog I also have a fantastic opportunity to exhibit and (hope to) sell my photos at Rose Leaf restaurant in Leith. It’s there for all September. It’s really cool place for dinner or just drinks. Please check it out, food is good and it has a nice relaxed atmosphere.
